Jordan Gauthier - YC Drum Company
For the better half of the last decade, Jordan Gauthier has been the “caddie” to many of Canada’s leading professional drummers in the studio and on the road.
Originally from Ottawa Ontario, Jordan started his independent drum company “YC Drum Company” as an eager 19 year old out of his love and passion for drums both old and new, as well as a goal to provide both professional and non-professional drummers alike with an outlet where they could obtain the attention and quality with their gear that he thought was deserved.
Currently residing in Waterloo Ontario, Jordan finds himself splitting his time between manufacturing custom made-to-order drums, repairing/modifying other manufacturers drums, providing studio tech services/rentals and touring as a backline technician.
Jordan has become a household name amongst Canadian drummers with a strong reputation of not only delivering a world class product with his own drums but world class drum sounds both in the studio and on the road.
Jordan’s studio work can be heard on recordings by acts such as Billy Talent, Arkells, Metric, Alexisonfire, Silverstein and many more.
