Leander Gloversmith
Leander is an artist manager, particularly specialized in the fields of artist development and A&R. He also has a background in music journalism and publicity.
He began writing features and reviews for music magazines such as Metal Hammer, Kerrang, Alternative Press and Terrorizer in 2003, and eventually became editor in chief of Tuned Magazine and worked as a co-writer on music TV show, Rockjaw.
He moved into music publicity in 2006, where he ran press campaigns for many artists, including Architects, who went on to become his first management client in 2007.
Leander worked with Architects for many years and across 3 albums, and along the way picked up Lower Than Atlantis and Your Demise, both of whom he managed for multiple albums.
In 2012, Leander signed Neck Deep at their second ever show, and played an instrumental role in their development into a global renowned artist with multiple top 10 albums in the UK and USA (including the UK silver certified ‘Life’s Not Out To Get You’), several awards and international touring success.
Over the past few years, Leander has also worked with As It Is and Creeper, both of whom achieved international touring success, magazine cover star status, and were recipients of multiple awards. Most recently, Leander has begun working with Dream State and Modern Error.
Leander has given several lectures and guest talks at ‘BIMM’ and as part of BBC Introducing Live and has travelled around the world alongside many of his artists, gaining insight into the experience of life on tour.
