Scott Middleton is a professional musician, record producer, mastering & mixing engineer, songwriter, artist manager & band development coach with over 20 years of experience in the music industry.
As founding member and guitarist of the Toronto based band Cancer Bats, Scott and his band have been nominated for 6 Juno Awards (Canadian Grammys), released 6 acclaimed albums, and achieved worldwide success touring and playing the biggest festivals on nearly every continent since the early 2000’s culminating into literally thousands of shows and hundreds of thousands of fans across the globe.
Scott and his band’s success has stemmed from their strong commitment and DIY business ethic, where he gained vast experience from being entirely independent for many years, to working with some of the best independent and major record labels around the world.
Having been mentored by and worked with some of the very top Producers, Mixing and mastering engineers in rock and metal music, Scott’s distinctive penchant for creating heavy and loud albums with distinct riffs, filled with memorable songs has seen him help many bands and musicians from around the world level up their careers in his role as a producer and audio engineer.
